From my understanding if a new employer requested your DAC during a certain time period then you were automatically involved with the lawsuit. The only thing I got was a form letter one day saying that if DAC released any info about me or anyone else during this time period then we would get a settlement when the case was settled. Nothing had to be filled out. This was over a year ago. I totally forgot about it until my wife called me while I was on my way home this week to tell me I got this check.

I just ordered my DAC the other day. You can get it if someone says anything bad about you on there and a company tells you that you were not hired because of it. I actually applied for a job through a recruiting company and the guy mentioned something about a license suspension on there but then he didn't want to talk about it when I asked him. So I went online and ordered it. I've never had a license suspension or anything else serious enough to go on my DAC, so it better be clean or I'm getting a lawyer or might try one of those "clean up your DAC companies" first.

They found me which is very hard, because I move around a lot and don't leave a trail. Kind of like to slip into town, un-noticed, blend in then be gone.
