Starting Monday, the signs will be changed to show the uniform speed limit. Until then, trucks must continue to travel at 65 mph. The law is in place.

LOL from the story
Get over yourself Arkansas, you're not that relevant. What? So maybe the trucking industry will have a new standard of 70 MPH trucks? Fine, but that still doesn't address the issues of trucks stuck in the passing lane not able to get around a similar speeded truck. If you want to truly solve the problem noted, the only way you can do that is to completely eliminate speed limited trucks and let them all find the spot they want to run and give them flexibility to accelerate in addition to slow down.A21CAV Thanks this. -
No ... no ... no! That would mean we would have to use our brains! I quite enjoy getting paid to be a mindless zombie thank you very much!!! -

I run at 60 most of the time (truck's governed at 63) Truck speed limit is 70 most of the interstate miles I run. Still get glacial passers. I just tap the clutch and get em by if they're holding up traffic. If I catch someone I'll run it at the governor till I'm by.

I run about 120 until I find a prime truck, then go 58.01 for the next 100 miles. Figure if I piss off enough 4 wheelers they will shut down the ata for us trying to get all trucks governed.

Maybe michigan will be next

Michigan has been discussed before. DOT says they will do it but decrease the weight limits, nobody really wants that so it's probably there to stay
