..........or as I like to call it 15 miles down a 10 mile dirt road. (well it seemed like that anyway)
101,000lbs gross loaded with red fir landscaping bark I head up over Mt.Hood on highway 26 heading to http://washingtonfamilyranch.younglife.org/Pages/default.aspx
Amazing place once you get there, if you remember the Bhagwan it's on the old compound. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhagwan_Shree_Rajneesh
It was called Rajnesshpuram and made worldwide news at the time. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajneeshpuram
Safely over the pass I drop into the Warm Springs Indian Res. and the Deschutes River gorge.
At Madras I turn North on US 97 a short while and then toward tiny Antelope,Oregon on a back road (OR 293).
Not much traffic out here.
5 miles past Antelope I find my turn off.......REALLY?.......dispatch didn't say anything about gravel roads!
Road sign,Muddy Rd. is my second turn off after 3 miles of gravel, only 12 miles to go.
I'm think'n muddy will be right if it rains much and it's starting to sprinkle.
Some of it was paved at one time, not much left and the gravel was smoother.
This just keeps getting better lol!
Down into the abyss I go.
