so why dont we put an end to alllllll the threads on LETS STRIKE and start putting a plan together?
why dont we/someone pick a date, a few weeks, perhaps 2 months from now, and stick to that date, and each and everyone of you that read here, tell your friends about said date, and tell them to tell their friends, and to tell their friends, and talk about it on the cb. why not plan it on
    "" Truck Driver "Appreciation" Week...:biggrin_2559:""
really tho, im sure the BIG companies would tell their drivers if they stop, their fired, but we dont need them BIG companies to help anyway, their trying to screw the industry as it as anyway.
every truck in america dsnt need to stop, hell, half would need to shut down, but less then half would get some attention
theirs enough of us that post on here from just about every part of the country, so why not use this tool here, and get somethign underway,
like Mule Bleue said, lets not talk about it, let be about it!
im sure more drivers then we think would be willing to do this....

And if there was a strike all those Volvos would keep rollin at 65 cause they don't care. They're "truckers" cause their trainer told them they was.

How many times did I hear that thru the years?

You know? this is getting to be a perfect storm, like I read not long ago in nationaly distributed
publication, I think it was "truckers news" "empty seats more pay" was the tittle.
the guy called it like it was.

He talked about wanting to buy a brand new 10000$ Cadillac, couldnt find anybody who would sell him one for that price.
Did that mean there was a Cadillac shortage?

No theres plenty of Cadillac but you have to put the money on the table to get one.

    Same thing with our drivers.

How many drivers were "wasted" thru the years?
How many new drivers came into the business just to be able to get some work so they could provide for their family only to find out the hidden reality?
How many veteran drivers left to do something else for a living because of the same reasons?

The economy is slow to recover and they, (companies) are begining to starve drivers, can you imagine what will happen when thing run full blast?

This is looking like a perfect storm, for us.
Hope we wont collectively let it pass,...again!

What you all need to do is gather a bunch of company drivers from the same company and organize it. One trucking company at a time. If not, continued low wages, cheap freight and no real voice to hear your concerns where it does any good. In washington.

ta daa.....you nailed it. if werner or usx organized, people would crap their pants. hell, if the schenider drivers realized that they still have a contract available, and to run under it, it would help....

Yeah I've heard about that scheinder contract, I don't understand why the drivers don't go under that contract?? I'm one one the drivers who try to organize challenger here in canada exactly for the reasons that have been say previously; let me tell you it is a long an winding road. Peolples are affraid of the carriers management.

I don't know of it is in the Us but here it is like a little mafia who affraid the drivers, dare to scare them to make sure that they won't join the Union. That's against the law but when you dare to complain like I did then you're in deep #### an the peoples then stay away from you, an don't really want to be associated with you as they are affraids.

Everybody want to go to heaven , but no one want to die.

But you know what there's still a little bunch of drivers that are still willing to go ahead to I keep going!! :biggrin_25521:
