The only time I have put on chains was going east just before Donner and I took the wrong exit to the Cabella's/Casino. My wife and I were pulling fedex doubles...yeehaw! I had to disconnect both trailers and turn them around, reallign and reconnect. What fun. I had to put the chains on to move. The same trip, I had to put chains on coming thru Denver,,,no moving and the law made everyone put on chains. That is the only time I had to put on chains. I won't put them on voluntarily. That was 2012/2013
