I-84 in Oregon is closed at Pendleton for extreme winds and accidents blowing trucks over. I'm sitting in Prosser, WA because the winds are already picking up and I only have 19,000 in the box. Anyone traveling I-84 in Oregon today be careful.
I-84 in Oregon and I are shut down.

Glad I didn't take that load to Grandview I was eyeing! I'm probably going to get it anyway, loading tomorrow in Rogers, AR to Corinne, UT so I'm sure I'll meet the weather somewhere along the line.

Wonderful.
I'm just east of Boise with an oversize load. I'm step deck with an 11'8 wide farm tractor. Not too worried about being blown over,.. doubt even a 100 mph gust would knock me over. But the Cabbage is my route. I was checking to see if the Cabbage was clear of ice and snow. Really dont want to ski down with this load and really do not want to chain up unless no other choice.
Now I have to find out how long its going to be closed for. This sucks. I need to make it to just south of Portland. I guess I'll camp out till Monday.

Just woke up. It's open now. Gonna wait a few hours then head on down. Since you're in boise can you keep me posted about the wind? I only have 19,000 in the box and not real thrilled about playing "try to keep it upright"

I'll roll out of here soon as I see the sun creeping over the horizon.
I had some pretty good cross winds coming across I80 today. Nothing really severe. Maybe 35 - 40 mph gusts. Its pretty calm here in Idaho right now
