I drive a 68 mph truck.

7 years experience, and you don't even know how many hours a driver can log in a 24 hour period? I smell a liar.

Edit: For anyone thinking I'm breaking HOS:

(See that off-duty time? I could have logged another 55 minutes of driving... well, 65 if I hadn't stopped for fuel.)

(Wasn't even trying to break 750 that day)

Refer to my post just above this one that includes a picture of my qualcomm showing daily mileage above NewNashGuy's claims in my 68 mph truck -- and they're all legal miles, mind you.

And those miles weren't even turned using new math. Just plain Jane general math like they teach in elementary school. Perhaps you should revisit those lessons before you stand on 30 years experience to call a guy out as a liar because the way I see it, the only ones that are full of it are people that don't know how to drive like ya stole it.
And the rich get richer, although this is no surprise, anybody else would do the same thing.
I hate to admit this,.. but if a company like Walmart hit and injured me. Ummm,... yeah,. I'm taking the first ambitious ambulance chaser to help me get a bankroll.

On a side not,.. I have been rear ended twice. One hit my car trailer and did minimal damage. The other darn near took the rear bumper off my Mustang. Neither of which I claimed injury. Its kinda like the lottery,.. I only play when its ridiculous not to.

It took me 11 hours to make 646 miles yesterday at 75 mph and at the end of the day you are 100 miles behind me at least. That picture means nothing to me it shows more than 11 hours in both cases.

They were legal miles turned in a 24 hour period in both cases.

Nobody is comparing ##### size on truck speeds. NewNashGuy simply said he can drive his 65 mph truck 755 miles in a day. No more, no less. Then I had to come along and illustrate just how easy it is to do when a couple members that apparently think a 24 hour period can only contain 11 hours of drive time cried foul. No more, no less.

If I LIVE to be 100--Im not sure Ill EVER be able to follow the logic of how a thread about a LAWSUIT can turn into a pissin contest about who drives MORE miles----Seriously

737 miles divided by 68 MPH = 10.8382352941175653 hours of driving.

I once had an Arizona state trooper stop me, them looked at my log book asking," You left Salinas at so & so time, how in the world could you be here?"

I told him, "I've got one of those large truck engines & I can go up hill just as fast as I can go down hill," he shook his head, handed my log book back to me saying, "Stay safe my friend."

If I remember correctly according to my log book at that time I had 15 minutes of driving time left.

I figure today such a statement would not work, & I would be in log book trouble.

Stile, Thank you for posting those pictures, I take it that is what the read out on the qualcomm looks like.

The truck driver can make many miles if he has his heart set to it keeping the drivers door closed & he is in an area that he can keep his speed up. Yet many truck driver, back in my day that drove fast, yet only raced between truck stops, did not keep the drivers door shut, & did not make good time, even thought they had fast trucks.

You've never been in a truck stop enjoying the conversation?

But I did not see bragging, just someone showing the miles they ran in a certain period of time.
