Yeah. I agree that you wouldn't want to be on the road with somebody like me who prides himself on safety.

In this case I actually do know a bit more than what the press has released so maybe it is YOU who are jumping to conclusions.

    I stand by my comment

Lol. Aren't you the guy in the other thread who admitted to getting CSA points on an inspection today?

Yep. Am I'm sick about. Rear Blinker stopped working on the tractor today. I would have caught it on post. So does that somehow make me less prideful about safety?

But let's be honest. How "unsafe" is it considering I'm attached to a trailer. But hey if it works for your argument or to make me look bad....have at it

I said if found guilty. Didn't assume he was. We don't know if cop cut him off, but if guilty they'll throw book at him.

I'm not trying to make you look bad. My point is stuff happens. That's why it's an accident. The guy I'm sure didn't intentionally get in his to truck to kill an officer. Sucks that if happens. But there will never be a fatality free trucking industry ever. Just like with your lights you didn't mean to have a light go out it happened. The guy could have been choking on something or a asthma attack or some medical condition. We don't know let's give this guy his day in court before we hang him.

Fair enough. As I said I have heard a little more details than what the press has reported so I'm fairly certain that it's not going to be any of the above but I agree that we shouldn't be in a rush to judge. But I'm also frustrated and my comments may reflect that because not like it's ever good to have a fatality accident involving an officer but the timing is just awful in this case. I fear soon we will only be allowed to drive our rigs between the hours of 9am and 5pm. (That last part is exaggeration.......I hope)

Me too. Just like this Tracy Morgan thing there going in about this speeding thing. But the turnpike is marked 45 and no one does it and there's no enforcement whatsoever.
