Ha, c64, you beat me to it. This tunnel has been the site of several semi rollovers in the past few months. Not sure if the drivers misjudge the curve going into the darkness, but this interchange was completely redone and just opened last year. Truck was pulling a RR container. Luckily, no one was injured.

Lol red car one lucky guy anyway....nice the one behind were payin attn &got woohed up in a hurry

New underwear for that driver!
Looks like it was one of those heavy intermodal cans... -
What I don't understand is why they didn't re-engineer that curve so these don't happen? That curve tightens as you go thru it so what is a safe speed up to halfway thru the turn is no longer as safe speed after the halfway mark. The lanes are tight and the 4 wheelers are going thru way to fast.
The old interchange was bad and they did nothing to fix it. -
Thing is that driver has probably been through that tunnel a hundred times ... looks like maybe the lock-downs (twist-locks) were not secure is my cursory cause, plus it was probably loaded to the ceiling and maybe had some voids in the loading or otherwise a load that could shift inside the trailer.

gentleroger Thanks this.

The main thing is the driver and no one was hurt.Looks to me like he drove too fast around the curve.
SHO-TYME Thanks this. -
This is a video of a semi rollover in the same tunnel 4 months ago. I'm sure the same thing happened the other day.

Slow the speed limit down in the tunnel, doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out.
