I've not started driving yet, I start school on Labor Day. That being said, if you can't see a T R A I N coming, should you really be driving, commercially or otherwise?
Our eldest will be getting her learner's permit soon. We've been "educating" here on some simple principles. If you are on foot, virtually ANY vehicle will win. If you are on a bycycle, almost all vehicle will win. If you are in a small car, big cars and pickup trucks will win. If you are in a large car, most pickup trucks will still win. If you are in a pickup truck, the "big rigs" will win. EVERYTHING,............... loses to a TRAIN. Treat any railroad crossing, as if a TRAIN, and a fast one, is COMING.
