Either they'd sort themselves out Darwin style, or be riding down the road with a bridge on top of their trailer. lol

Werner has out fitted their trucks with a shrinking switch on the dash. It deflates tires, airbags, and makes the truck and trailer smaller so it can fit under those type of bridges. I think he just forgot to flip the switch.

Won't be long before Werner starts putting warning stickers on the windshield about how tall the truck/trailer is. You've seen the ones on their doors telling them to use three points of contact and how vehicle inspection is required.

I think it's arguable the FMCSA has moved to make truck driving easier, and avoiding those measures is most likely what might be making it more difficult.

If drivers gave the FMCSA what they purport they want, I'm pretty sure they'd discover they don't want that.

But, you know, there's been 60 years to do it and it hasn't happened yet...

I drive for werner... and I am happy here for now.. so dont start in...

But, sad to say... this is real sad because whenever you get dispatched to a location where there is a low clearence remotely near.. you get a warning over your qualcomm to check route and to be cautious and check all clearence signs....

So it is stupid and carless for all drivers... but especially for Werner drivers cause we get warned and reminded to watchout for low clearences. ....

Watched the 11' 8" video... wow.. I just dont get it.... whenever I come to any overpass.. even on major interstates I still look for the signs... and dont just blindly trust them.. especially if I see the road has just been resurfaced. .
