I got hit today!

That is exactly where I was but the pickup was in the left of the two left turn lanes and was trying to pass on my left, he hit my drivers side drives while I was looking in the mirror on my passenger (right) side to make sure I was clear to move to the far right exit lane.
That's why I didn't see him until after the impact and after I stopped the truck.
When he came around the left hand corner too fast his rear end slid out to the right and sent him into the grass on the left side of the road.
Then he over corrected turning hard to the right and his rear end slid out to the left which catapulted him back across the road and into me at a 90 degree angle hitting me in the rear drive tire on my drivers side.
Idiot drivers do pass us on the right there all the time though which is why I was focused so much on my right side before moving over.
There's a solid line before the dotted line as it's also the on ramp from a side street and while it's illegal to change lanes on the solid line impatient drivers cut over and pass us on the right there constantly to beat us to the Marine Drive exit.
You can't fix stupid!
