When you can not remember if you applied the parking break .....

After 25 years it becomes habit. I look for the button on my car every time I park, never fails, I leave the gear selector in drive or park, reach up to the dash and look for the yellow knob. Im thinking about glueing a yellow parking brake knob to the dash of my car just to feel right about parking.

 

I always love when you're zoning out at the end of a long day and you notice you've started rolling. You hit the foot brake and panic because you're still rolling! The knobs are out, you've got air pressure, wtf is going on?! About then you realize its the truck beside you that's moving...

 

Yep I reach for the yellow button & I reach to push it in before I start moving. I also reach for the gear shift, my car is automatic, take turns way wide, I drive a Toyota and let off the gas way too soon when I see a red signal ahead . It really gets in your blood, doesnt it?
