Yea. Watched one jack knife in front of me in Pennsylvania back in September. Scared the #### out of me. A friend of mine is also a highway patrol officer for Florida and he hates them because they always bypass open scales and he has to run them down

I get 53c pm, if i waive benefits. 48c pm with benefits. Not sure where you are getting your figures from, differs from contractor to contractor

Don't really see that many FXG trucks driving stoopid as a rule, you get bad drivers every company. I know we get the cold shoulder on the road sometime but I just guessed it was the big money, 100% drop and hook and 2 days home every week lol.

Thats Mad Dogs bollocks your talking, its not fedex culture to drive that way, delivery time linehaul is based on avg 45mph, If i go from Sac to Hartford we are always there well before ETA on paperwork and that's 68mph max. All the linehaull offices are plastered in safety literature and I have never heard of anyone being castigated for weather shut down. All I can say is if your fedex linehaul and you need to do 70+ to make it on time then your doing something wrong. Also hiring standards for fedex very stringent, no more than 1 MV in last year. The guy I work for pays the best I heard of for a contractor and is a dream boss, yet still can't get people through the pre employment check.

What ever happened with that Fed Ex that crossed over the median on I-5 in California earlier this year and hit a tour bus head on and killed 10 people?
Its kind of strange how some of these serious accidents just drop off the radar and you never hear about them again.

Well it would be nice for you to get off that FedEx kool-aid. ...FedEx ground especially are reckless for the vast majority of the time. ..even on a documentary on cnbc between FedEx & ups the vice president of FedEx stated that the customer doesn't care whether or not it's snowing, ice, rain or whatever...they expect us to arrive when we told them we would be there...that mentality is shown everyday on these highways with FedEx trucks...simply put, revenue over the motoring public safety and well being. ...
