    R.I.P. driver. So incredibly sad.

Not to say this driver didn't have belly wraps, because I don't know, but hopefully some flatbedders will be inspired to put them on nice and tight after seeing this and maybe a life can be saved.

We all are forced to make judgements, the tricky part is in trucking they are in real time. There were likely several bad choices made here by the driver and possibly his company, sending him improperly trained into an unfamiliar environment. The outcome is predictable, and it will happen again

Sad story. I would like to see his load securement. Probably just used straps. No chains to prevent forward movement of his load.

Those parkways on Long Island are low. I used to live there and many times drivers don't see the no trucks signs. RIP driver.

Someone should have told the driver that parkways on the east coast are always off limits. Always. Judging that the outfit he was driving for was out of Chicago and looking at his name, he may not even been able to understand what NO TRUCKS meant

Always a shame. I'm sure it was a gruesome scene. However, we are responsible for our actions, and sometimes lack of good judgement has catastrophic results. It's not like something out of the blue caused this, it was totally preventable.
