I was told by the officer that csa violations wont show up on the mvr regardless of the offense level. But the fine has to be paid of course. Sound right?

if you get an inspection and the violation is listed on the inspection report and you also get a ticket for that violation.................goes on MVR & PSP RECORD (w/ a fine).
if you get an inspection and the violation is listed on the inspection report but no ticket is issued.... doesnt go on MVR but goes on PSP record. (no fine)
if you get stopped and get a ticket.... goes on your MVR only. (w/ a fine).
if you get stopped and get a warning...doesnt go on your MVR or PSP record. (no fine).
hope this helps...whtlinefvr Thanks this. -
Not sure why they said it wouldnt show up on my mvr? It was a
ticket for having beer in the sleeper. He said it would go against csa but not on mvr unless it was a dui. Thanks for your feedback as it does make sense. -
OK everyone, I'll start..... WHAT? Everyone on this forum has been stopped for some minor random thing (dirty taillights for instance) and had the nice officer simply say "Im not going to cite you, but clean those lenses for me, thanks driver, have a nice day"... Low and behold a few months later, there it is a CSA hit! -
not sure what to make of your message..dont know if you were disagreeing or something..
however - i do apologize, i meant citation (warning).
