I was just wondering if anyone has heard or seen any factual evidence regarding this rumor I have heard floating around? I am used to paper logs and prefer them. I have heard different stories from everyone:
1. Yes. All trucks will require Electronic On Board Recorders come 2014.
2. No. If that happened, then many companies would be in the hole thousands of dollars.
3. Yes, everyone except for O/Os.
4. Yes, only for companies 50 trucks or more.
So what the hell is the real scoop on this? Anyone know? Thanks, CZ
P.S. If this is true, then might it be a good idea to buy stock in QComm? $$$ Cha Ching!
EOBRs (Qualcomms) required in ALL Trucks by Jan 1st 2014?
