I know this driver doesn't need to worry about it, but Florida is 41' to the center of the rear axle. They will allow 44K on the drives (not preferred) or on the trailer tandems. Know that from hubby's personal experience.

Looks like I'm in the same boat of everybody else or not really sure, If I have this scenario 12,000 pounds on my steers 34,000 pounds on my drives 34,000 pounds on my trailer tandems, If I was going into Ohio and Kentucky which is where I haul , How many feet from the kingpin to the center of my tandems on the trailer can be, very difficult for those states because everything is a calculation. Dose anybody know approximately how many feet it is, instead of going through some difficult calculations.

All you have to worry about is the federal bridge laws on interstates and access routes in KY and OH which is 51 feet between the center of the front drive axles and the center of the rear tandem axles. It's hard to get shorter than that.
There's a chart in front of the RM Truckers Atlas.123456 Thanks this. -

Yeah in most cases. The fifth wheel all the way forward for some unknown reason might shorten you a couple holes.
