A driver was stopped in MD while using my company DOT# and signs, he was put out of service due to many violations, he fled the weigh station and was caught again.
Racking up to almost 7000 in fines, shortly after I received a letter from the DOT letting me know the revocation of my DOT# due to us allowing our driver drive a vehicle in such bad conditions.
I already filed a dispute on the DOT website.
    What else can I do?
I confronted the POS by the way and he said the wind had blown the signs that where on top of mine. (The truck he was driving used to run under us)

Would it help if I go to my local DOT office and explain it to them?
We are out of service and not making any money because this #######.

Now you know why companies remove the signs from their trucks before they sell them. Too much liability if you don't do it.

A couple bucks, a little elbow grease, and a can of brake wash could've saved you a whole lotta grief.

One out of line driver at a Weight Station doesn't result in a revocation.... Wrong Place to be pleading that story..... I have seen inspection reports that read more like a grocery list due to so many violations..... Tell us your USDOT# n will tell you the real reason why your out of service!!!!

I usually exchanged numbers for final check.... Or proof of removal.... No numbers-No Proof-No Check... Just that simple

That's the way most contracts read, no proof of removal no escrow money back...
Used to be in the old trip lease days. No signs back no pay for the ld..

I didn't sell the truck, it was never mine.
The owner of the truck and I used to do business, but he was not authorized since 1/29/14 to use my signs anymore due to us inspecting his trucks and finding a crapload of issues with them.
We had two previous out of service, one time for HOS 70 hour rule violation and the other for mismatched chambers size in the same axle.
The HOS one he made a mistake on the logbook, it can happen to anybody, we all have brain farts from time to time.
The mismatched chambers I have no excuse for really.
It's our fault 100% for those two and it has been taken care of.
It sucks when you trust on somebody and they stab you in the back like this.
