Petition to change the hos rules .

Sounds good Dave hopefully this will spread and get all the signatures needed.

 

I dont mind delays since I get detention pay while dead asleep in my sleeper. I would like plenty of time to make it to the shipper.

 

the rule of the 34 hour reset include two periods of 1-5am is really dumb
I enjoy running at night, no traffic and don't have to worry about finding a place to park in the early afternoon.
This rule MAKES me screw up my sleeping schedule all the time to adjust.
Now how "safe" is that?

 

Be careful what you ask for, you just may get it. If Uncle Scam decides to modify the HOS regulations again do you really think there is a snowballs chance in hell they will make it better? Every time big gooberment gets its greedy paws involved in something they only make it worse, the more times they revisit the same subject, the worse they will make it. Remember, the opposite of progress is congress.

Have to start somewhere and 500,000 signatures doesn't seem like alot, but then again if we as drivers just #####

Lots of posts on here about sitting around waiting to get unloaded! Seems like a perfect time to call a lameduck

congressman and vent alittle. Just my 2 cents worth.Again IMO if you don't like the way things are then why

complain here? Seems like the singing to the choir analogy.
