They might but I still need to talk to the admin person at Sage in San Antonio to see if it matters where I get it done since that says its one of the pre admin requirement that has to be done first. I actually just enrolled with the VA medical about 2 months ago even though i've been retried over 2 years now. Appointments usually take a little while also is what i'm figuring out with the VA.
Sleep Apnea requirements?

I am also a fellow CPAP user and I just got my recert done a couple of weeks ago. Now they have some form with some questions on it that you have to answer. Before I got diagnosed back in 09 I had some of those symptoms they were talking about. Now I have none except for the one that asked something like would you take a nap in the afternoon if you were tired. Well don't we all? Lol! Anyway the Doctors want to see the last 90 days of data and they are looking for 70% or higher for compliance. I use my machine daily so I was good to go.

Actually the first time I had the machine was in 2003 and I couldn't stand it it...The head harness and mask was just so uncomfortable so i turned it back in... Then i redid the sleep test in 2008 or 2009 since my snoring had became worse and the new harnesses and masks they had were a lot better so I actually got a decent nights sleep.. since no one was hitting me to stop snoring lol... now I use it every night

Yeah, me too. Every night. No more headaches in the morning. No more snoring and no more wanting to go to sleep in the afternoon. It's really amazing when you think about it. When I went for my sleep study, they woke me up after about 15 minutes and said "we have to put a mask on you right now!"
I was that bad. 93 events an hour. I would stop breathing for 43 seconds out of minute. I was never entering REM. Near death every night. LOL. -

Just FYI...I passed the DOT physical but could have saved $45 dollars if I would have got the print out of the CPAP first before I went in for the physical. The doctor gave me a 3 month certificate($85) and upgraded it to 1 year when I brought in the print out the next day($45). I just stopped by the place that issued me the CPAP machine and had them do a 30 day print-out. It shows the number of AHI/hour number of days used over 4 hours and stuff like that.
