I would say that the proper description of the officer who wrote that ticket is not allowed on here. Do your best to get the judge to embarrass him.

"Nitpicking" or not...it IS the law as it's written...the LEO was in the right...and the judge will side with the law if they know the law, and do their job correctly.

Another interpretation: as in Court, you'll swear before giving testimony, that what you say will be true & correct. (Contest the ticket using the same model as when going to Court & testify. Perjury is a crime.)
