There will be a time that the med exam will be sent through computer to the CDL unit of your drivers license state bureau. Don't exactly how far along this is in the airwaves. This info will have to be sent by the dr before the close of his evening at work, you then will not have to send it in yourself, supposedly.

For now a copy can be sent by mail or faxed to the CDL unit. I do both usually, don't trust sensitive info the powers of mail or otherwise.

Even the people that do vote, keep re-electing the same clowns. Most voters aren't smart enought to vote for independents.

It's all setup in NH where I live so it was all automatic. I got pulling into Spokane scale for a log book check and my medical was online when they checked. I'm sure there are many other states that are online also. There will be tons of drivers lost because of this new process. No more fake medical cards.

I live in Wisconsin and I registered my med card on line. I think the regulations still require us to carry a copy in the truck. I could be wrong.

Yes, you still have to carry it. Not all states are online yet.

Had to go to a registered doc this time. And the cost is $75 to $115 from what I have seen. They are supposed to be able to send this info into the dmv, but I didn't trust that and I sent it myself. That CDL cost way too much to lose over a medical certification.

If you self certify, you can mark the forms as not running Intra/Inter and medical not current. You can keep the CDL and if you need drive again, just redo the medical.
