    I know this is second hand but I talked to a guy who said he got popped at Rainbow northbound $300 told him he is now in the "system" his next one will be $8000.

    Yes I do live in Ca but have not seen any CARB police running around. They are in blue pickups from what I heard. My big question was if they are ticketing out-of-state trucks.

    Yeah, isn't that hypocritical? Do they really need a gas guzzling truck when a throw away fuel miser like a yugo would suffice?

    Carb is only enforced at the ports as of now. Scales dont check yet

    They're fixing to get on ground at Chowchilla early in the year

    Also they use white vans. I got a ticket once in Coachella for idling when it was 120 degrees outside and some white van was going from truck to truck giving out tickets.
