    Here it is, all bs aside.

    So many people come on here and complain day after day about the hos, and the 30min break, anout they get get screwed by them, or how they will loose money if they are forced on to elogs, or any other govt rule that comes up. We see it daily on here and at every #### truck stop. But how many of those actually do something positive about trying to get the system changed? Very few, if any ever actually make an attempt to contact those that can make the change. So they come here and #####. What are they accomplishing? Not a #### thing. They are just stressing everyone else out that doesn't want to listen to the bs.

    That 8 sleeper has to be continuous before you can use it to reset your 10 or split. I use that split once in a while to get past city congestion, reach a delivery or pickup, or if a split makes sense. (I don't mind getting the 2hrs in sitting at a shipper or consignee) I don't like the 30 minutes off my 14hr clock, but if I split I get to include it in the 2hr off duty, as you said, Powder. I don't like splitting my breaks, but it's just another tool for my purposes, not a bad thing. I just have to be careful of my 14hr clock, because of the way any time after the 8hr component comes off plus the 2hrs later on.
