If the senate voted 72 for and 26 against with only 17 Republicans voting for the bill how in the hell is this crap sandwich the fault of anyone other than Reid and the democrats?
    http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/senate-sends-obama-a-bill-to-fund-the-government-until-october/2014/01/16/0c73842c-7ef3-11e3-95c6-0a7aa80874bc_story.html

(yes I know the link is last winter) The point remains, repeating history, the majority, (democrats) pushed this thru to a vote filled with poison pills. No one bent over, it was jammed thru by Harry Reid

Obama has been filtering money to the big banks since his first day in office with a zero percent borrow rate but you blame the republicans for the banks greedy sucking of cash from the working class?

Seriously, both parties are sticking it to us and the sheep battle with false claims against each others party flag.

As far as the add of the extra hours, the world will now end on Jan 1, 2016. Or maybe not.

The government cut the pensions of white collar workers at GM during the bail out and propped up the union pensions with underwritings stock ownership.

The government says it is currently looking to destroy all work for American coal miners thru EPA regs which will soon destroy coal workers pensions plans and force them into Government plans.

The government, depending on who is in power can destroy corporations and kill pensions much easier than corporate raiders.

Joe, I guess your Palin dig made me think you might think the worlds problems are brought on by everyone but the totalitarian nature of the left side of thought.

The good part of it all is there are plenty of search parameters using every politicians name to find stupid things said by the. Try Obama some time, or Biden, or Romney Or Jeb. People say stupid things. Identifying ones own person pointing out the mispoken words of another show some partisan ship to me.

    Be safe driver.

They way I look at America, given its founding words are, a more perfect union, the President is the head of the corporation, America, and the House of Representatives are my union reps.

Unfortunately, the company screws us, and the Union reps are on the companies side.

The Union reps have the workers fighting among themselves over which union rep is really the Company hack.

Remenber. They all suck. I happen to think one sucks ever so slightly less than the other. Still just as dangerous. This little gift came with a huge pricetag.

That's how it should be. As a nation...we'd have a lot less problems if the government would operate like a company. Instead...our government is operated like it's some kind of magical land where Money Oaks are plentiful and shed $100 bills to perpetually fund every department and project. As ####### stupid as that sounds, that's exactly how the government operates.

All they do is sell or close the business and ropen under a different name ..anyone relying on someone else to support them with a income later is a fool..

Typical liberals are always looking to get rich quick or for someone else to provide for them ... welfare ,disability, pension.etc

How about folks just take some responsibility for themselves and they wouldn't need to worry about it .. stop living beyond ones means ..if some folks spent half as much time trying not to work and to scam the system as taking personal responsibility working and saving, they would not need to worry about someone else providing their next meal later.

Personally I don't want to be dependent on someone else to work and support me .. Thats when you become a SLAVE..

WANNA Retire ...take personal RESPONSABILITY AND SAVE .. START YOUR OWN PENSION FUND ..but dont expect others to pay your way when you no longer provide a service of value..

Pensions and SSI and such are nothing more than legalized liberal Ponzi and Pyramid schemes designed by the liberals to trap the poor into dependancy

Tahh-dahh....why do people keep referring to this as an "82 hour rule". It is not. It is 70 hours, take a restart, and start the next 70 hours. Even if you look at it as 82 hours, there is no way anyone is gonna drive 82 hours in 8 days like these knuckleheads keep claiming. It is all just the media and anti-trucking groups trying to hide behind semantics and flawed perceptions to make an invalid point about a non-issue.
