Help!!! How Long Does It Take To Get The TSA Threat Assessment Results Back

I'm in NC also and it took two weeks, but I'd had previous clearance for US Customs, US Postal Service and US Army.

TSA encourages calls to check your status. I'd try that.

 

Can't he take non hazmat loads till the results come back?

[h=5]Step 3 - Security Threat Assessment[/h]Based on the data provided on the HAZPRINT application, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will perform a threat assessment for each driver applicant. The results of this assessment will be provided directly to the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security. The applicant will also receive a letter from TSA with the results of the assessment.
[h=5]Step 4 - Status[/h]Approximately six weeks after the applicant has been fingerprinted, if he/she has not received a letter from the TSA, information on the status of an application should be available at the HazPrint help desk at 877-HAZPRINT (877-429-7746).

saw this thread and just checked mine on the UES website, all done, just called the number for giggles and they say DMV already has info and I can get the endorsement added at any time, they said a month but its only been two weeks Friday since I enrolled....

 

I think I got the letter in the mail in about a week but I have seen posted that the DMV may not get the OK you pass when you get the letter so I waited about a week before I went in to DMV to take my HAZMAT test and get the X on my license.

BTW I did the on line forum fill out to TSA for the HAZMAT & TWIC back ground checks a week or so before I went for my prints.

Here in Floriduh it took me less then 8 business days to get mine back, but I like others here had a fed clearance, gun licenses, TWIC and some federal I had back when I worked for them doing Dirty dirt clean ups... They say less then 30 days here but a lot of it depends on what they find and have to investigate so each individual could be quite different....

Good luck, hope he gets it and can get home in time to not have to renew and add later!

 

I had mine cleared in about 9 days. I tested the same day I found out I was good to take the test.
