Trucking Jobs in 30 seconds
Every month 400 people find a job with the help of TruckersReport.

And when the fmcsa opens the comment period,
How many drivers will NOT make their comments.
Last time the fmcsa wanted comments , was the hos rule, only about 25,000 out of 3 million CDL holders sent in, comments. -

NWAF and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

This is idiotic. If you can explain how to color in a book you can write a program to do it. It's the same as 'paper' but would be able to do it faster...

Fmcsa don't listen to congress.
What makes you all think they would listen to trucks? ?????Last edited: Feb 16, 2015
skellr, cowboy_tech, gokiddogo and 1 other person Thank this. -
If they gave drivers a way to stop their 14 hour clock like they used to the elogs probably wouldn't be so bad. For some drivers who have troubles with basic math they'll be a godsend since they do all the math for you. I dislike how this will encourage more micromanagement from dispatchers since they can read your logs at their computer.
cowboy_tech and Derailed Thank this. -
Really wish there would have been some info on what all would be included in the mandate.
Guess we will have to wait and see. -
I STILL think it should be a personal choice, but if it's to be mandatory, then I am glad that we did it when we did, and our "conversion" period is over.

if when they were implementing the 30-min hold and other rules were going to be done, no matter what (that was a quote from the previous heads), then what makes you think driver comments is going to change anything?
honestly, i hope drivers really get mad as hell, because thats the only thing that will change the laws, when men actually stand up and refuse to bend over any more
until that happens, the politicians will do whatever they want
