that could very well be. there was a news story on one of the stations I was listening to a couple weeks ago on that very subject and the cops in all the adjacent states to Colorado really getting burned out trying to catch as much of it as they could that was exiting the state. the ones right there in the border counties are saying they can't hire enough deputies to keep up with all the increased traffic.

Whether you agree with smoking or not, I'm surprised Americans would accept lines of troopers blocking the highways and searching vehicles for the crime of leaving the state of Colorado...

Last I checked, you have the right to free movement inside your own borders, and ALSO have protection from unwarranted search and seizure. Refusal to submit to unwarranted searches does not constitute grounds for a warrant to search.

Please spare me the "nothing to hide, nothing to fear" rhetoric. Human rights are few and enumerated, meaning everything that isn't spelled out as a right ISN'T a right. I'm not okay with giving any of mine back, the balance is already tipped well out of the favour of ordinary citizens.
