I'm so with you, if I wasn't a company driver right now, and owned a whole fleet of trucks, I so wouldn't allow smoking or drinking or social media.
Would you like me to PM you and we could discuss what we'd do when we win the lottery?

My dog is part spaniel and miniature colly so she has long hair and sheds a lot, there are many things on the market that can be used to get rid of the smell stains whatever and done better then any professional cleaning. You have to use a lot of elbow work.Same with smoking.Just because you detest smoking doesn't make smokers bad ppl.At least im not.I do respect other ppls property.

Hate to break it to ya, but I have absolutely no need to ever have to come looking for a job from you, or drive your truck.
You're sadly mistaken to even assume that was a possibility... and way beyond yourself in your assumption.

Yes, every single truck owner can set the rules as they please.
You can hang a sign saying "Only non-smokers allowed in this truck" and I can hang a sign in mine saying "No whiners allowed in mine".
Don't like my sign? Then mind your own business and drive your own truck.

When I started driving at JB Hunt in 99, I'm pretty sure the guy before me farted in there. I wish someone would have made a rule against that. You should be able to hold it in til you get where you are going. Or at least have 1/2 the trucks for those that can hold them in, and 1/2 the trucks for those that let them go. And make the ones that let them go pay a deposit so they can be professionally spruced up.

I think there are smoke bombs you can use to get the smoke smell out of a truck. As for the residue, that has to be wiped up. I don't know how you get it out of the upholstery completely. I've had one ex-smoker truck that I drove for three months last year. The folks who cleaned it did good job, I thought.

Well lets be clear here-if there is to be a rule: you can't be breaking the numbers just in half: there's halves of halves as well. Gotta have equal numbers of trucks for smokers and no. Smokers. Also farters and non farters. And smoking non farters and farting non Smokers.

MY EYES ARE ON EXPANSION! And my nose is on vacation!

I don't smoke, but for companies that allow smoking in their trucks, when that driver vacate that truck and needing to put another driver in it, the company needs to make it as if know one has ever smoked in it, I have an allergic reaction to cigarette smoke, it can and has made me throw up, when I went to work for Western Distribution out of Denver some years back, the truck they assigned me reeked of cigarette smoke, I told them "sorry but I'm not driving that truck, will need another truck or I'll need to find work else ware" they said if they bring in a company that can clean the smell out, would I take it then, I said as long as there is no evidence of the smell! They brought in a company that day, they spent about 4 hours in the truck, and to my amazement, you would have thought no one ever spent any time in that truck ever, shined like a brand new truck
