wow...that is an awesome number ($600 per night) as a driver! so
in reality would that translate into $150k per year?
down in texas, sunoco logistics was advertising about .39 cents/mile,
plus a percentage of the amount of barrels hauled. (maybe 2-3 cents/mile) for total of .41-.42 cents per mile. did not seem like great money in my opinion.
Trying to find out about Oilfield trucking!

mn noob I just saw your message, I will call you sometime tonight. I don't know of a job with a schedule like you are describing unless there is a leaser that would hire you to run his truck with that schedule.

Yah, I work for plains as night driver and $86k should be the average for a day driver, over 90k for nights. We don't get paid by the hour unless its excessive load/unload/breakdown. But hourly sense it amounts to ~$31/hr, assumes you don't have spills/tickets/accidents for $12k bonus.Tractor7127 Thanks this. -
I've been seriously considering going or at least considering going to ND for work. Yes I've heard of the housing shortage and so on, and for weeks they're have been ads posted on Craigslist here (i live in CO), but for awhile now they're hasn't been any postings for jobs up there, but yet I hear they're still hiring. Any updates as far as still needing drivers up there or not would be appreciated.
Thanks -
I hear there is a bottleneck in the pipelines. They can't handle the supply. This backs up the flow and reduces the amount of trucks needed to haul.
MM71 Thanks this.
