Hello everyone and thanks for reading. Well let me start with a little story. About a year ago my mother acquired a truck and reefer. A broker/ family friend said she can put the truck to work and make some extra cash on the side as long as my mother pays for everything promising that it would make its money back within 6 months. 6 months later my mother had to pay $1200 for repairs and no profit. So my mother quit it all and parked the truck. Recently my mothers accountant found all the paperwork having to do with the truck using one of the numbers on the vehicle and found out the truck made around $80,000 total which the driver and broker pretty much split since nothing came this way.

So now I as her son ended up with the reefer and the truck and am looking for a driver/partner and hopefully get the truck moving and giving it another try. I don't have any experience other than what I have read on all the owner operator sites, books, and dealing with a horrible broker. I do have a general idea of everything since my in laws are truck drivers but only company drivers and local. So if anybody would be interested in giving it a go, hopefully building a company together feel free to message me.

I do believe the truck is a 2001 Freight liner.

I would not mind doing that. I found a nice company here in texas that runs reefers, JS Helwig & Son (Terrell, TX}. I just dont know how to find a driver or even lease it onto a company. I was hoping I could find a driver here or at least some help to find one.

I'm a class A driver looking for a job. I drive well (recent trucking school grad but had a 97% grade average) and am currently driving a dump truck with a 18' 20,000lb trailer for a crappy paving company. That may not sound like TT experience until you consider most of my driving has been on hills of northern MD and through city streets. Can verify school and have clean DMV record. I live in Delaware, though. Don't know if that's an issue.

you could try posting your email address. dunno.

was also thinking, IF your truck is an 01 you may have a bit of trouble leasing on to some companies due to it's age. i'd maybe be interested, but the pay would have to be pretty strong to make up for no ins, as well as having to pay my own fed taxes etc. btw in Austin, not to far from Houston.

My email is rmagaly25@yahoo.com if it lets me post it

Yeah I have seen quite a few companies that wont hire below 08. Thats why I wasnt minding going owner operator. As far as pay I was leaning around a 50%-50% split after the gas and expenses. More like a business partner than just a driver.

In regard to your matter that I have an opportunity for you to make money with your current truck, and to help you learn how the system work.

If you have the following in good standing that I can be able to help you and show you how you can profit on every load.
    1. Have to have your own authority MC # and able to run the 48 states
    2. have to have reliable truck
    3. Have to have reliable trailer or have the ability to lease a reliable one.
    4. have a small capital to be able to pay for fuels, permits, till able to collect on your loads.
    5. have to have all dot require document, Insurance, IFTA, registration, stickers, etc. & being current.

If you have all that, then I can be able to help you because of my over 17 years experience in the freight industry within the 48 states and Canada. plus I have customer base, and the most powerful broker that can secure the best paying loads. Also I can supply qualified driver (s) with extensive experience with full endorsement from hazmat, tank, double triple. So you can email me to BFBoustani@gmail.com and let me know if you need any assistance. Cheers. Rocky B.
