Greetings. My name is Joe and I am now over on the owner operator and contract carrier side of things bringing drivers on for Interstate Distributor ( I am a previous company driver with interstate, then a company recruiter, I am now now working on owner operators and contract carriers) I wanted to post this thread to intro myself and field questions on this program. My cell is **removed for spam** for private chats or post your questions here to this thread. I will respond and answer all reasonable questions and requests. This is not a place to bash or complain but a thread to
openly discuss the possibilities of leasing on to Interstate pulling our freight. I think we have a great program and plenty of work. We have Fortune 500 freight
85 percent drop and hook, no charge to use our trailers, discounted fuel, reliable dispatchers and stability. I am looking for people who own their own truck or have a small fleet.
Need a truck? I can get you details as I have several dealers who lease and finance work ready trucks to all credit types.
    questions? Post away...............

Then why not just post the numbers????... What is discounted fuel rate..precentage pay or mileage..charge backs..Why go thru a bunch of crap about how "good" Interstate Distributor is without posting EXACTLY what is paid and what is not paid??

$1.05 is a guarantee of minimal pay for slow trucks who only do 8 loads a month. More for our part time casual drivers...... Last month our average on all miles paid to owners was well north of that including 100% fsc. Our owners who run and want to work are doing very well. We have a guarantee in place so your not ever lowballed like some companies do. If drivers only made 1.02 for running average to full production we would not have a strong fleet of owner operators and contract carriers.

I like fair feedback and conversation with other owners. Especially the ones saying WOW and great for Interstate? I am confident your not fully understanding the program. With a little communication with a call or posting on here we will get the basics understood.

I think we have a great program, many owners running load boards cannot get the access to Fortune 500 freight consistently with drop and hook freight with free trailers to use. NO FEES. Our sales reps have already landed the accounts, prestaged the trailers, we handle the billing and even advance your pay before we are paid on our three day pay program with no factor fees. SO YEA WOW!

PS to top it off I am not going to throw pie in the sky numbers to earn your business. I would rather under quote and over deliver. WHY? Retention of driver and relationship is very important to our company. Average driver has been with IDC 8.5 years and many 15 plus years. Lot of the support office staff has been here 20 plus years. So its like one big family. WE DO CARE about drivers and owners.

Or you can go on a fixed rate of .92 guaranteed plus 100% of the customer fuel surcharged which last week was .41 if you don't like to ride with influx on the pay scale. I suggest guys take the percentage as we run a lot of retail electronic loads and seasonal freight that pays $1.59 to $2.25 and that's at 67.5 percent with no hazmat. If you got hazmat we can do 68 percent and I seen lot of hazmat paying $2.00 plus so we have the program set up for all types. We also include a one on one dispatcher for phone dispatch to your truck, you can refuse loads 2 times per day if its not what you want and wait till the following day to get back in rotation. Must drivers do not refuse unless they have a need to be home or the load is not going to a location that works for the truck. We also assign you a business advisor to help you with your business to make you profitable. They watch your fuel consumption and alert you when your patterns are not in the top performers for profit. Our goal is to make you profitable. If your not profitable we are not profitable. The end goal of each relationship is to help you as a owner operator to grow your business from one truck to a small fleet working with IDC and have you running your own drivers and making overrides pulling with your own authority. This is not a short term relationship for people who like to hop around chasing empty promises. If your a hopper don't apply. I prefer to only work with serious owners and investors who can see the total picture. Thanks Joe
