Swift, Roehl and Millis are 3 that I know of that will train you. They all have websites you can view for more information. If you go with one of these you are tied to them for at least 1 yr. If you leave before then you will have to pay them back for your schooling. do yourself a favor and do tons of research before you jump into one of these companies.
Best of luck to you in your new career -
Also you can add TMC, Werner, Covent, USXpress and I believe Snieder to that list

I am going through Driver Solutions, start on the 28th, and my two choices are teaming with PAM or soloing with USA.
I am conflicted. I don't really want to team, but maybe that would be better starting out? Also, I am hearing rough stories about USA right now. hmmm... -
If I was you I would look at Roadmaster rather then Driver solutions... Lot more options...

Thanks for the companies fellas so what do i need to do other than go o their site. When i looked on some of the sites before i didn't see anything about them paying for your training. Do i need to look under a certain area? Also has anyone gotten their cdk this way and was it helpful.

The way most pay for training is if you go to an accredited school such as roadmaster, you fill out apps at the school, they submit and you get pre-hires based on graduating from the school and meeting the companies requirements.
At Roadmaster I currently have a pre-hire with Werner, Stevens, Swift, Covent and 1 other.
The way pay for the tuition works is this. You go to work at one of the companies and the company pays for your tuition at either $100.00 or $150.00 per month depending on the company you go to work for.
Call Roadmaster and ask them about this. Most of the people that attend Road Master do not pay up front.
You could check into CRST. They have their own schooling and training facility from what I was told.
CRST offered to send me to springfield and a job as well but I don't want to run as a Team and thats all CRST has right now.
Hope that helps

Go through the threads here in this forum as well as doing your own research. The biggest thing is to ask questions. Lots of questions and lots of research. You don't want to jump into something that you will to stick to for at least 1 year. That's an awful long time to work and not like your job. -
If I was you I would look at training courses, not a school. cheaper and much faster. you can start work in a next week . And who cares how you get cdl,to get a good job, you need 2 years experience anyway.

I just went through the Driver Solutions school in North Little Rock AR. Took me 2.5 weeks and I got my CDL...The trainers there are super nice and very knowledgeable. I went in with no experience, and got my CDL easily. Try hard, and you will be fine.
I am going to work for USA. Going to orientation Monday.
I have heard more good about USA, than I have the others. I've heard more bad about the others than I have USA. Basically all the big companies are going to get you in, train you, and you pay the schooling back in your first year of work. Most leave and go somewhere else, and they are bringing in more and more at that school every week. There were 30+ that came in this week(my last).
