Here in SC at the local college it lasts 9 weeks.
In the first two weeks we go over:
-General Knowledge
-Tankers
-Doubles and triples
-Haz Mat
-Busses or Passengers
-Air Brakes
At the end of the first two weeks we are given a week off to go and get our Permit. That is where I am now. Then it is back to class and we start to drive the trucks. At the end of the course we take the road course at the DMV.
So how long does/did your school last?

Three weeks start to finish and it went by fast. Now like aussie josh said, you never stop learning. Thats what so unique about the schooling and the drivers you meet when driving during your first year. Some want to share how you better yourself mold yourself into a good drivers; others do it for money and give no help.
