The terminal I applied at,the TM said 3 are gonna retire .Either way I'm a casual at YRC or casual at ABF.
One is closer, but pay is less.
The other is 35 min drive,with no paycut.
both operate routes in same area

I hear you there. We got people retiring soon at YRC as well. YRC is 25 min away and ABF was a hour, both same pay where I am

Well good for the first week, Then I wasn't feeling well (alarms went off) went to ER and ends up I have some sort of infection. The ER doctors put me on antibi's and painkillers (not allowed to drive commerical vehicle while on pain meds) So ABF put me on a plane home till I get cleared. MY luck!!
Hopefully be back sometime in June.

Well at least YRC you kind of knew some of the companies policies and all, and how the drivers were. ABF is very good though as well.
