I'm thinking about joining up with ADP in Tonawanda,NY but I was wondering if anybody here has had and experience going through their training program or who's actually worked for them.

I understand that you start off as a dock worker for 2-3 months then they put you up in a motel during the week in West Chester,PA for training, all paid of course.

Can someone tell me how it is over there? What to expect...etc?

I dont have any direct experience with them but I was looking into them before I went where I did.

Did you call them yet ? I think if my memory serves me correctly they only have certain months that they hire for this training. I could be wrong tho..

Wondering if he went to work there and what he thinks now. I worked for Adolf Hitler in Southington CT for 11 years...I now work At FEDEX freight...best move I could have made. Don't know about that terminal but TM in Southington is a douchebag tried to screw me out of my $1000 bonus that I earned from last year when he found out I was quitting but I took that up with CT dept of labor and got my money so got last laugh on that #######. Thanks for 11 years of service and F U that's what I got.

oh the question was how are they to work for...sorry. Okay so when you are a P&D driver for them you start at 8 or 9 am or whenever they tell you to and you get a average of 12 to 18 stop run and 10 pickups or more everyday and if by some miracle you get all that done by your 12th hour you will get rewarded by having to go back to terminal and be forced to go back out to go and do a swap. And if you refuse your job will be threatened and or written up for refusing a direct order that's in Southington CT terminal every single day because like I said Adolf Hitler runs that place and his gestapo supervisors enforce his scare tactics to the letter. Ask any driver that works there...at least a non butt kisser and trust me there are plenty of them there that get to do whatever they want by kissing up to Adolf...that's why him and I never got along cause I wasn't buying his bull and not scared of him on any level. Anyway that's how it is.

I don't know about southington whisley, i have been their once to help out (thursday actually), but over here in Carteret I have no complaints. I do about 8-15 total stops a day, usually do a 10-12 hour day and average 55-60 hours a week. If the OP is still reading depends on your terminal. I know someone up in buffalo i went through the training with and he seems happy. Its a good company. They just expect you to work. Your expected to work the dock if need be (i never see it), inside delievry, sort and seggrate (RARE), liftgate, usual stuff. Remember their expanding like crazy we just took over New Century's corporate office and weve opened 2 new terminals this year and 2 more next year. Job security.
