Greetings,
I attended Elite in Hillsboro,OR. The staff there is GREAT, Wes and Mike are really good trainers. The only complaint I would have about the school is that they have a pretty old fleet of trucks to learn in.

One other comment is that you will not drive any freeway miles or any real practice going up and down hills. You WILL get lots of practice in city type of traffic going up and down TV hiway.

Best of luck to you.........I hope this helps a bit.

I have also been looking at their program, they seem to be quite abit more expensive then Elite +- $1500.... Let me know if you are planning on going.

IITR?

I am also in Oregon, I have looked at IITR and it looked like a good school, quite a bit more money then Elite though. Still looking into things, hoping to find someone who has been through their program to get more info as well.

I recently went and checked out elite its ok, very old (ghetto) building, old trucks although the owner was very nice. I am going to drive out and check out iitr before i make a decision. From the web site iitr seems much nicer and more up to date. I want to hear from someone who has gone through the program. elite is cheaper yes although i would pay more for better training. There was a post from someone who went through the program at elite and they stated that its a lot of city driving and no up hills or down hills,I see IITR trucks drivin all over all the time around HWY 205, where there are lots of hills. Living in Oregon I feel that training on hills is an absolute MUST (we have so many everywhere) Best of luck keep me posted on what you decide to do!
As Will I!
