One of our 2004 Volvo 670 has a red battery light flashing. However the voltage is a constant 14.4v according the computer. Truck runs fine and starts up no problem. Anyone have any ideas.

I am guessing it is sensor or electrical problems as Volvos are know for. Member Eskimo and other members could go into depth about what to do.

Found the problem,
Voltage regulator wire from the alternator burnt. It got so hot it melted the plastic right off. It made contact with the sensor wire for low coolant and shorted out. Replaced both wires and no more flashing battery indicator. The Challenger Thanks this. -
