Ok kenworth said there is one p/u line usually on the drivers side, and no crossover line. Then the return line using barometric pressure sends fuel to the tank with the lowest level. Soooo if the p/u tube is on the drivers side how does the truck get fuel from the passenger side??? I ran out of fuel the other day and still had a lot of diesel in the tanks so I'm trying to figure out where the problem is... Thanks...
How does the Fuel system work in a W900?

my 95 t600 & the 03 t6 that i have now both have the top draw, top return system.it draws out of both tanks & returns to both tanks.the only way to have a single draw tube would be if you had a crossover tube.

That's what I figured or how else would it get fuel out of the tank -
It is called dual draw dual return system it has a T on the suction side and a special valve on the return side made by GT industries that is supposed to reyurn the fuel equaly to both tanks. Frequently this valve goes bad and returns all the fuel to one tank so you end up with one full tank and one empty.cheap fix just a pain in the a@# to get to it

Seems like cross over line is either stopped up or shut off. Mine has a shut off under each tank.
