I would get a cylinder cutout test ran at a good shop, since all 6 inj are new, if the cutout test shows 1 cylinder lower than the other, you have a leaking head gasket at that cylinder. that would be where I would start, some of the other guys here may have a better approach but that would be where I started if it hasn't had a head gasket in a while. have seen leaking head gaskets do crazy things before on them yellow motors. just my .02
-
i took it back and they did a cut out and say every thing is fine but this thing sounds like heck and bucks bad around 1300 sometimes as high as 1500 rpm maybe some one else will ring in with an idea

Are any codes coming up ?
-
no codes coming up wish it was maybe id have so idea this mtor has alot of miles on it like 928 never been apart other than the rack uses no oil or water
-
Here's a long shot, and guessing, VIBRATE DAMPNER, (BALANCER) in front of the crank.
-
ok but would the balancer make the motor sound chattery
-
By chatter you mean like diesel knock ? If thats the cause, then its starving for fuel some where .
-
Sounds like it's going too lean.
pressure test the intake system from the output of the turbo to the intake manifold. -
yea the chatter i mean not a fuel knock just very noisy pn the over head kinda sound i know its not going to be quiet like a gas moter but this motor was never this loud nothing broke in the over head and every thing is moveing fine just clattery if thats a word lol
