iv never put it in a truck but from experience of putting it in a house you don't want it to fit too tight against the edges as you want the floor to be able to expand and contract with temp/moisture variances use trim around the edges to hide the gap

I keep thinking bout using a new kind of linoleum they came out with. I guess its actually a fiberglass of sorts supposed to be able to just lay it out and it wont curl or anything. I took my carpet out of my whole truck and washed it out with pressure washer an soap "thanks to the previous driver" toughest thing was the seats I had help for that other than that the wosrt that can happen is one of the shifter bolts wont come out.

Drove a truck for a while that had a tile floor in it. Real nice just wipe it down with some windex and good to go.

I seen pictures of one with tile but thought truck flexing may crack it.
