There's a cafe up the road that allows local drivers to park their rigs there during home-time. This weekend I saw a truck there I'd not seen before -- a Freightliner COE. Do truck manufacturers still produce cabovers... and does anyone have an idea of what year this one may be?
Also, the trailer was a Hyundai. Heck, I didn't know they made trailers, too.

i think that's a freightliner FLA; It's a shame they don't make these anymore. i think they still make the argosy but that's for export only----because, as usual, Europeans are smarter than us.
Yes, Hyundai makes trailers. Pretty good ones too. Much better quality than their cars.Ducks Thanks this. -

That appears to be a mid eighties.

90-s trucktors were with moved back steer axe and steps in cabine under the door, like on European trucks
Ducks Thanks this. -
You must be right about the Europeans being smarter-they probably wouldn't put up with some sorry rascal trash-talking his own country. -
Actually I do not like COE trucks, but I have plans to operate not only in Ex USSR but in EU too. I will start with conventional truck, later I wanna get COE truck.
Ducks Thanks this. -
I learned to drive in a cabover, and the first truck I owned was a cabover. I really wish they still made them in the U.S. I know Volvo and Scania make them in Europe, and too bad they don't have them here. Does anyone know if they'll ever be available here again, and if not, why? Cabovers are one of those things that you either love or hate, and I always loved them.
