Help!! 18sp to 13sp any advice?

    17th and 18th gear went out today. Tossing around the idea of going to a 13 to save some $$ and get rid of the top side 18sp issue. Also what clutch do you recommend for high torque? Located in Pa any good shop in driving distance to get a good trans from? Any input? tanks in advance!!

    Personally, I 'd keep the 18 speed. What are the "top side" issues you're talking about?

    The difference between a 13 and a 18 is the ability to split in the low range, the top sides are not different.
