Truck is leaking oil out of trans input shaft seal and i gotta split it. Clutch is original and im gonna replace it while is apart. Anyone have any opinions on whether the lipe is better than an eaton as far as longevity? Gonna do it in next couple of weeks.

What make of transmition do you have? If its a eaton there is no seal on the input it has a reverse spiral cut into the input shaft that pushes the oil inward.

Lipe clutch has a lot of good features that make it the hands down choice. The design of the pressure springs is better. Also, it is the easiest clutch in the world to adjust. A simple, one person job. No having to have someone push in the clutch or put a 2x4 block of wood in to hold the clutch in. It is a simple remove the inspection cover, and adjust the ring to the correct distance, then you are done. If you go on Lipe's site, there is a description of the clutch and how to adjust it. You do not need to be some sort of mechanical wiz to do the job.
Check out this brochure from them. Look at the bottom page. It shows how to adjust a Lipe clutch.

Where are the best places to purchase a lipe? And best pricing?

Do web search. There are several online places who are selling Lipe clutches. A lot of truck dealers are stocking them in parts. But, of course, you will pay full retail getting one there. Might want to check local truck repair shops in your area. They may have access to better pricing. Quick search online, I came up with pricing from $650 for a Lipe 2 (2000 lb torque) to $700 for a Lipe 1 (2400 lb torque). Take your pick.

Mid America Clutch is what I got after my pilot bearing seized up and things needed to be opened up down thar. Made in Indiana.
Cost was 5 hundred and some Ameros 2 years ago for the entire clutch and release bearing. Built like a Eaton Easy pedal. Beautiful clutch. HAven't had any issues with it. Can't beat the price.
I've heard of more than one Lipes that have come apart. -
