You must have a lot of extra cash burning a hole in your pocket. I imagine you'd be spending at least 20K for a used C18 short block.

Where might one procure such an engine? Would you have to spin a tale to get it thru a CAT dealer to be putting it into an on road vehicle?

I don't see a need, kind of wasteful if you ask me, plus you will be guessing at what turbos will work right depending on how you build it.

I think if you have the time and the money get into it, alot to consider tho a clutch that will handle extra torque, turbo size - configuration - I'm sure there would be many brick walls that you would run into,

F yeah this would be something nice to see if your pockets are deep enough.

With all of today's engineers and gurus it's not gonna be like your shooting in the dark.

Yup, a C18 is no larger in size on the outside then a c15. Its on the inside that counts ;)
