Looking at a couple 2009 T660. They're old Midwest specialized rigs with a C15 twin turbo with between 472-550k miles. Nice looking rigs, and from what they say they were well taken care of. Can't check them out in person till at least next week, but I just wanna see what everyone thinks about the engines.

I don't have any personal experience with them but post dpf cats are known as one of the most troublesome engines on the road. and the fact that cat withdrew from the on road engine manufacturing in 2010 would tend to confirm that.

Don't walk run away from that cat. I've got one end it's the biggest pile of crap I've ever had. I'm going to lose the DPF soon but I've got to rebuild the top end first. It is low powered and absolutely horrible on fuel mileage I'm talking sub 4's I'll see how it is after the work but if it's still a piece of #### it's going down the road.

Don't do it !!! That's what I have and is driving me broke.
I just run my mpg for the year @ 60mph. It's 6.1 mpg with 13 spd ultrashift, supersingles and 3.55 rears. My engine's oil analisys is 2 best out of ten by paperwork comparison, still I've put over $25k in repairs in 13 months.

Ask dealer if serial is SDP I sure it is, then offer them half of what they asking for it. They cannot give those trucks away. If you can make a deal worth buying you can make a mean screaming motor out of them. Otherwise....run

Well, I have heard hardly any good about them, and this is really confirming it. Yikes. Sucks cause they're set up how I like. Guess I'll have to look a little more. I'd prefer a cummins anyway I guess, so this works.

I can tell you first hand that those are SDP Cats and this company could not WAIT to get rid of them.

I haven't heard a single good thing about these engines. There's also a huge class action lawsuit regarding these engines. I wouldn't own one of these trucks if they were given to me.
