Here is the problem I was at the pilot in Mississippi and I went to move truck. I let the clutch and heard a loud bang. I got out and looked . I didn't drop driveshaft. I went to put it in gear and it would not move . The driveshaft is spinning slow . I licked the power divider in and it moved with no problem. I was sitting here today and got out to check. I can turn the driveshaft completely around by hand. Is it possible that I broke the yolk or and axle. I need some ideas because I'm gonna try to make it to Pensacola about 80 miles away with e divider locked in. Does anyone any good shops in Pensacola? Thanks
Loud bang from my rear end.

Take it to the closest garage. think about the what if, i need a wrecker 60 miles away from the closest shop...expensive tow charge.

Sounds like an axel went or part of the power divider exploded.
if you can drain the front rear and check for metal I would.
mine had massive chunks in it and had to put in a $2400 power divider. -
his truck will move with divider locked in. but not with it unlocked. busted axle.
i'm guessing you were either starting off on a very steep incline or releasing the clutch before the brakes were released. those are the two biggest reasons drivers pop axles. or you got stuck in some loose material of some sort.Ezrider_48501 and 04 LowMax Thank this. -
I second the busted axle.

They will bust or shatter at hub sending peices into your wheel bearings. I would get it towed if it was me.
04 LowMax Thanks this. -
Ya, you should get it towed. The tow operator will disconnect your drive shaft before towing it also. Going to cost you around $800.

had a similar problem, I let the oil get too low in front rear end but got really lucky, it got the power divider only, the ring gear and pinion were not hurt, I locked power divider in and truck moved fine no noise or popping, so I would check power divider
