Sorry for posting about this AGAIN... I have been chasing a vibration in a 07 Peterbilt w/ C15 Acert set at 550 for months. However last night it got worse then ever really feels like a miss, and engine seems to be lacking power. It was about -15c outside temp, fuel restriction gauge around 4-5 all the time. Builds 45-50 psi boost. Feels like a hammering in the front of the cab/ floor board. I have cat et results from a while ago when I first started chasing this problem, I attached the pictures to see if anyone can point out anything there that can be causing these symptoms. About 10,000 miles before any vibrations started the front structure was re sealed, motor mounts replaced and clutch replaced. Since vibrations have started, cab mounts replaced, injector cups replaced and overhead set. When coasting along if the throttle pedal is held steady the engine will accelerate then cut out and coast for a couple seconds then kick in again, and repeat.. does this all the time. Hammering/ vibration is only there when on the throttle, as soon as you let off it goes away. Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to get the whole story out and maybe someone can point me in the right direction before I let the Cat house bend me over. Thanks for any input!
I also swapped #5 and #6 actuator solenoids then the test came back as 5 and 6 no good. So I replaced the solenoid that was on #5 and the above results is what I got, no change from before.

I had cat actuator related problems for a while until I replaced both head harnesses. If you haven't done so I strongly suggest it.
maybe Oscar the kw can give you a bitof advice, I understand he has an 07 also. -
What sort of symptoms were you getting? Did you have engine light on? I have no engine lights on.

Have you checked your ecm power supply?
-
How do i check ecm power supply? I have not done that. Did you have rough running Lucar?
-
Try and run a timing calibration since you have had the front structure apart. Just a shot in the dark but possible. That may help with the hammering and viberation. Need to also ohm wires in harness back to plug at rocker cover.

Check wire harness, friend has a T-660 with a C-15 and some wires were exposed, rubbed against metal somewhere and were grounding out. Cost him alot of time & money to finally find it.

Well this is bizarre and maybe harness related?? I just I had the cut out and IVA test ran again since the other results were from about 10,000 kms ago. Here is what I got, #4 injector was replaced 30,000 kms ago I had forgot to mention that. These results gotta be a indication of something..

Looking things over more, found the 2 harnesses that go from ecm in to valve covers have a good amount of oil in the plugs..Is that normal? View attachment 79895
