for the first time i see an engine who puts more power to the ground more than he produce itself and with the fan on ,hm......
i bet he works without fuel too

Rumor has it that the Mercury marine engines produce 10-15% more than their advertised power ratings.
That being said, I would like to see the print-out from the dyno. -

if you know nothing about engine, it's your problem. -
lets presume the cummins dont corespond to specification in a good way so isx 500 puts 520 to the ground and with power losses(transmission,rolling) lets take around 10 percent ,his real power should be around 570, i can understand a difference in a few ponnies but 70?!Last edited: Jan 28, 2010

Found this the other day, apparently it has 820 hp at the wheels.

In less your hauling heay equipment...why 700 hp. Normal Freight....weight under 80,000 with hills doesn't require much h.p.
The majority of the time if your equipment is maintained the issued h.p. does the job with great fuel mileage.....don't reinvent the wheel...
